How the Punyabhoomi project collects, uses and protects your information.
Who we are
This website, punyabhoomi.org (the "Website"), presents Punyabhoomi — an envisioned 500-acre spiritual, cultural and wellness destination under development in Nashik, Maharashtra, promoted by Exsquare Infrastructure India ("Punyabhoomi", "we", "us"). Our project office is at Business Galaxy Shree Hari, 301-302, Shri Hari Narayan Kute Marg, Mumbai Naka, Matoshree Nagar, Nashik, Maharashtra 422001, India. For anything relating to this policy, write to seva@punyabhoomi.org or call +91 70306 64646.
This policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and is designed to respect the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
Information you give us
You can browse this Website without telling us who you are. We receive personal information only when you choose to share it:
- Enquiry form — your name, email address, mobile number (optional), enquiry type and message.
- "Be the first to know" sign-up — your email address and, if you choose, your name.
- WhatsApp, email or phone — whatever you share when you contact us directly.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and troubleshooting. If Google Analytics is enabled on this Website, it collects anonymised usage statistics (with IP anonymisation turned on) to help us understand which pages are useful. Analytics data is not used to identify you.
Cookies
This Website uses only functional cookies: those needed for basic operation and page-speed caching (for example, cookies set by our caching system), and — only if analytics is enabled — Google Analytics cookies that measure anonymous usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the Website will continue to work.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry — this is the primary use.
- To send you project milestones and announcements, only where you have signed up or asked us to keep you informed. Every such message tells you how to opt out, and you can unsubscribe at any time by writing to seva@punyabhoomi.org.
- To keep the Website secure and improve its content.
- To meet legal obligations, if and when they apply.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
- We do not send you marketing you have not asked for.
- We do not collect payments, donations or bookings through this Website — see the fraud notice below.
Who your information is shared with
Your information is accessible only to the Punyabhoomi project team and the service providers who run this Website for us — our hosting provider (which stores the Website and its database), our email service (which delivers our messages), and Google Analytics if enabled. These providers process data only to provide their service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. Sign-up details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you updates. Write to seva@punyabhoomi.org with the subject "Privacy Request" and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may escalate it under applicable Indian law, including to the Data Protection Board of India once operational.
Grievance officer
For grievances under Indian law, contact the Punyabhoomi project office: Grievance Officer — Punyabhoomi (Exsquare Infrastructure India), Business Galaxy Shree Hari, 301-302, Shri Hari Narayan Kute Marg, Mumbai Naka, Nashik 422001. Email: seva@punyabhoomi.org. Phone: +91 70306 64646.
Security
The Website is served over HTTPS, hosted with a reputable provider, protected by standard server hardening, and backed up daily. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information.
Children
This Website is meant for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, write to seva@punyabhoomi.org and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The Website links to our official social media pages (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and may link to other external sites. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy applies only to punyabhoomi.org.
Fraud notice — important
Punyabhoomi does not collect payments, donations, deposits or bookings through this Website or through any agent claiming to act for it online. If anyone asks you for money in the name of Punyabhoomi — for darshan, rooms, plots, "priority access" or investment — treat it as fraudulent and verify directly with us at seva@punyabhoomi.org or +91 70306 64646 before paying anything.
Changes to this policy
As the project grows (for example, when bookings eventually open), this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
