One Yatra, Many Dhams: The Idea at the Heart of Punyabhoomi
For crores of devotees, the great yatras of Bharat remain a distant dream. Punyabhoomi is envisioned to change that — one campus, one day, one journey.
Ask an elder in any Indian home about the char dham yatra and watch their eyes. Then ask how many have actually completed it. Distance, age, health and cost stand between crores of devotees and the darshan they have longed for all their lives.
A darshan within reach
At the heart of the Punyabhoomi masterplan is a simple, radical intention: to bring the darshan experience of Bharat’s greatest tirthas — envisioned recreations inspired by Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, Tirupati, Vaishno Devi and more — within one sacred campus in Nashik.
A grandmother who cannot climb mountain paths, a young family that cannot take a month of leave, a devotee for whom the cost of seven journeys is out of reach — for them, one unhurried walk down the planned temple boulevard becomes a yatra through the sacred geography of Bharat.
Not a shortcut — a beginning
Punyabhoomi does not claim to replace the great dhams; nothing can. The intention is the opposite: to kindle the longing. Many who take their first symbolic yatra here will one day stand at the original tirthas with hearts already prepared. Until then, no one should have to wait a lifetime for darshan.
